Peikko delivered a substantial order for Rock Anchor Foundation Technology for Egersund wind park in Rogaland area in southern Norway. Peikko was responsible for the foundation design and the delivery of foundation components for 33 foundations. The deliveries included FATBAR® rock anchors, tower adapter plate with tower flange connection bolts, drilling templats- and assembling system, special reinforcement steel technolog
The investor of the Egersund wind park is Luxcara GmbH. Norsk Vind Energi A/S develops the wind park and the main contractor is Veidekke ASA. Senvion delivers to Egersund 33 pcs of 3.4MV-114 turbines with hub heights of 93 meters. The wind park was completed and officially put into operation in may 2018.
Egersund wind park is the second large wind park project in Norway using Peikko’s Rock Foundation.
