The constructed logistics center is intended to be certified according to the international Edge standard, demonstrating that the company adheres to the highest sustainability standards in its operations.
For this project Peikko Lietuva supplied the TERAJOINT® Strong Free Movement Joint Systems helping to fulfill the key requirement of the client – to have top-class floor flatness. TERAJOINT® Strong is an ideal choice for installing exceptionally level floors. These joint systems are made of high-quality materials and are easily assembled. The total length of TERAJOINT® Strong parts used in the project exceeded 4 km. The complexity of the project is illustrated by the fact that the designed floors had to withstand a load of up to 22 tons transmitted from one rack support. In enclosed spaces, the client typically opts for black metal profiles, but for this project, galvanized TERAJOINT® Strong profiles were chosen, which are also moisture-resistant.
The project also included the supply of HPKM® Column Shoes, KKT® Corner Protectors, HPM® Anchor Bolts, and WELDA® Anchor Plates. All Peikko products used in the project, including TERAJOINT® Strong, have EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations), thus meeting all quality requirements and facilitating the entire construction process.
