This is an A+ energy class building that stands out for its sustainable solutions, convenient layout, and advanced engineering systems. It also features a rooftop terrace inviting you to enjoy views of the city from above and a distinctive accent—a glass hanging balcony.
The building has been awarded the BREEAM New Construction Excellent sustainability certificate, indicating that Sky Office meets international requirements for sustainable buildings. Adhering to the principles and practices of sustainable operations, the developer applied energy consumption and CO2 emission-reducing methods on the construction site and meticulously sorted construction waste.
Peikko Lietuva team also contributed to the construction of this sustainable building by designing and manufacturing DELTABEAM® Composite Beams for the business center, with a total length of 800 meters. In Lithuania, high-rise buildings are typically designed with a monolithic frame, but this building stands out because a prefabricated building frame was used for the 18-story structure.
Non-standard DELTABEAM® Composite Beam solutions were used for the roof installation. The beams were sufficiently low but had to meet R120 fire resistance and withstand greater loads resulting from the terrace and the planned terrace landscaping, which involved heavy reinforced concrete planters. In the 2nd to 17th floors of the building, non-standard support connections and permanent formwork were designed around the shafts. The connections had to withstand considerable loads from above, but thanks to the permanent formwork, the beams can also withstand high fire resistance.
